it's been awhile. I've been busy, I've been on facebook, I haven't had anything really to say (still don't).
I do however really miss the old JS. I just don't feel like blogging on blogger (or anywhere else). I mostly looked forward to writing at JS... I've just been busy with work and friends and wishing spring would come.
We put some new lights in our house. We're semi-remodeling parts of the house. We put a ceiling fan/light in the living room, recessed lighting above the bar in the kitchen and awesome lights under my cupboards. I love them!!
Next week we're painting the kitchen/dining room, downstairs bathroom, and all the hallways/walls up the steps. I'm doing Humble Gold (a goldy yellow) by Sherwin Williams in my kitchen/dining room with stripes on the big long wall. The stripes will be all in humble gold but will be a matte base with a satin stripe of the same color. Make sense? Then my hallways will be Wheat Grass (an olivey green). I'm still stuck on the bathroom. I'm either going to do a light green sandscape faux finish or just the Ionic Ivory (the first one of the color slide that has the Wheat Grass on it - I don't want the bathroom as dark as my hallway but I'm tired of the Dover White so while the Ionic Ivory is whitish, it does have a tint of green in it.
Then we're going to change the light in the bathroom above the sink (I hate that light!) and we're changing the lights in the hallway upstairs. I'm really excited to see this all finished.
So that's where I've been the last couple weeks, picking out lights and paint samples.

We have the recessed lighting under the cupboards too, I also love it. House updating is fun, isn't it? I agree with Kate...pics!!
