The roads were pretty bad last night. We were stupid to still go to turbo kick but we went anyways. 4-wheel drive and driving slow. It was a good work out (turbo, not the driving) AND you all will be happy to know that I drank eight 8 oz glasses of water yesterday!! feel free to pat me on the back.
Ok, back to the snow.
It's a whopping -1º out there right now. It's nice having a heated garage.... until I go to leave work. Brrr that's cold.
I hope the neighbor guy is really nice and plows our driveway. We sold our plow b/c it won't work on the rhino and we haven't bought a new one yet... that'll be on the list for next year I suppose.
So the neighbor kid who is just 16 and drives way to fast in dry weather let alone snowy - ended up in the ditch yesterday. *not that I'm one to talk about driving fast* It's a pretty dandy of a ditch and I bet it scared the crap out of him. I bet he drives a bit slower too.
driving down the road on my way to work

standing *in* my house with the door open (b/c it's to cold to stand outside!)

Jeez! In the 30's here and no snow! I moved north for snow!
Nice snow!!! We got teased again with not even enough to cover the grass!
soiled: yea but you've had more than us before I'm sure. this isn't a normal snow for us lol! global warming and all that you know.
cawfee: you're to far south. well i suppose not to far I mean columbus got a nice dump of snow too. Really, you guys should move up to Columbus. you'd be closer.
That's awesome about the water!! Now you just have to keep doing it. I am struggling too.. But I worked up such a sweat this morning it's been easier. I don't know how you all deal with the snow. Seriously..
Wow that's pretty...and COLD. Jeesh.
green: I would hate life without snow. Don't get me wrong, come March I'll be craving warmth and sunshine but I love snow, I love the crisp cold when you walk outside...
honestly we don't get snow like we did when i was a kid (do I sound like my mom or what?!). I would rather drive in snow than rain. Now I don't know that you'd catch me living in Alaska or Canada or somewhere that gets more snow for longer periods of time. I remember LoupyLou was posting snow pictures and I was mowing the grass. Now that's snow I couldn't deal with.
lunamor: If it's going to be cold then it better be snowing. 80º and snow would be better but I don't think that's a possibility.
I like the drasticness of our seasons compared to say your seasons. ya know.
Bone crunching cold, but what scenery that is. Looks so quiet and serene.
I actually drink my 8 glasses of water every day. Ok I sometime come up a bit short on the weekends, but generally I'm pretty close. At first, you pee a lot!!!!!! But when you get used to it, you actually start to feel really good from it. Good job!
yay for your water.
i think you're crazy that you would rather drive in snow than rain. those are pretty pictures and glad your neighbor wasn't hurt.
Hehehe, see, I love the mild climate here. The coldest it gets (usually) is in the 20s at night; we bitch a lot if we have a day here and there that doesn't have a high of over 45.
doanli: yea that's pretty cold for us. I like cold but not negative number cold.
silvertag: I'm kinda tired of peeing so much. I pee a lot anyways. I've done 2 days with eight glasses so I've done good so far. yay me.
sis: i hate to drive in rain especially at night.
lunamor: I think I'd really miss the snow/seasonal change. Is it possible to be 45 and snow?
It might be, I dunno, but I know it wouldn't stick.
I like our snows - usually they are fast, heavy, wet, and melt by noon :D
You live in a beautiful location. :)
I do. I am lucky :)
