I'm getting older

It seems the older I get, the more gray the world around me is. I miss the black and white. Sometimes I feel as though I'm standing in my own little space. I'm going about my day whether it's work, gardening, taking care of my husband, working out, making dinner, laundry, cleaning, spending time with family, hanging out with friends .... and I feel as though the world is just flying by me. Moving so fast that I can't keep up but I don't feel as though I want to keep up. I like my life. I like the slow pace. I am happy. I am content. I take that back, I love my life.

I think I found my first gray hair the other day. My hair stylist says I don't have any but I swear I found one. I didn't pluck it b/c I wanted to show her and then I couldn't find it. Maybe I was just seeing gray, maybe it was my lighting, I don't know.

It's storming/raining today. I do enjoy a good daytime thunderstorm. A lot of my "friends" on FB are whining about the rain but to me the rainy days make the best book reading days. To bad I'm at work. I would be at home curled up on the couch with my Lucy curled up in my lap, a hot cup of tea and I'd be reading "The Girl Who Played With Fire" by Stieg Larsson.
