Dirty

I'm a girl, I can be prissy. I like to wear make-up, perfume, pretty baubles and I even like the color pink. However I do like to get dirty. Muddy to be precise. We have a rhino (a side by side utility vehicle) that we used to take riding all over. I miss that :( We don't do that so much anymore b/c my husband and his friends are now into golf (boring). The best part about riding is the mud. The more mud on you, the better the ride. I prefer mud over being just wet.

Sigh.

The warmer weather is making me wish the guys were more into riding than the refined game of golf. However, the area we would ride is no longer available to us like it used to be. They're stripping it. All our trails are gone. Hopefully when they're done we can have our playground back. It won't be the same. They won't replant trees, which brings me to something else. I think (and like most things that come out of my mouth it sounds better in my head than on paper) that when these companies strip your land they should have to replant the trees.

We just bought 30 acres (of family land) that was stripped years and years ago. It looks so barren and bleak. Would've been nice if they would've replanted trees. Well, it would look prettier at any rate. Our goal is to replant the hillside with trees but it's not cheap. I think we can get a deal on trees since it's reclaimed land but I haven't looked into that much.

They must have stripped it straight down to the roots...Most trees will come right back once they have been clear cut..

They're stripping it for coal.
