So we sold the 4-wheeler (not the Rhino, the 4-wheeler). We only lost $150 on it from our asking price. Ryan was pretty happy.
We headed to mom and dad's to celebrate my brother's birthday and ended up playing Wii all day which in turn made us go out Saturday night and buy a Wii with some of our money. We played so much this weekend the controllers need new batteries. I really need to buy the rechargeable dock.
I love the golf game (Ryan hates it) on the Wii Sports. Ryan loves tennis (I hate it). We both hate boxing and baseball but we both like the bowling game. Now to buy some other games.... :) We are both pretty sore today. My arms and butt are killing me however my legs feel fine - thanks to Turbo?! You might think, well it could be b/c you don't have to run around, you're just moving your arms so that's why your legs don't hurt. To that I answer with "you've never seen me play tennis have you?"
It really was a good weekend. Plus I got cake and ice-cream, that always makes for a good weekend!
How was yours?

Hooray on selling the 4-wheeler! And hooray on the extra space that has opened up where it used to be stored!
It sounds like you had a really good weekend! Hooray for really good weekends! :D
My oldest son waited in line all night at a Wal-Mart with a friend (playing board games) so he could get his Wii. He needed cash and didn't have time to play it much so he sold his Wii to my other son several months ago. My other son likes it a lot. I was surprised that it gets data updates. That was something new to game systems for me.
When we got our kids their first NES, we used to play it after they went to bed trying to beat Super Mario, or whatever it was called. We thought there was no way to get through world 8 until someone figured out you had to go down a pipe or something. I don't know how many hours we wasted trying to get through that game. I liked Sega and Sonic Spinball better. One of my kids was really upset with me that I beat that game while he was asleep, and he didn't get to see how it ended.
Anyway, I have never played Wii though we have one in our house . . .
Have a good week! :)
*Boo hoo* no more rhino.
Hooray for the extra space and hooray for the wii...
You will love it.
My Wii character looks exactly like I do....
charm: i'm surprised you haven't played the Wii, it's a workout. I'm very sore today and I do the Turbo Kick class at our YMCA twice a week.
bobby: sigh. you need to reread my posts... we sold the 4-wheeler not the Rhino! lol!
I love the Wii myself and definitely want to get one. Just think' then we could play each oher from other sides of the world- wouldn't that be cool?
I adore the Wii personally and it was "my"Christmas present from Tony. Yeah right - mine huh?? Watch out for Wii knee and Wii arm. Maggs
I love the Tennis and Bowling...I loved boxing before my kidney starting hurting so badly. The golf and baseball stink!
