It's been awhile since I've wrote....
I'm supposed to go to Chicago the first weekend in October with my sisters but it turns out I just remembered Ryan and I have a wedding to go that weekend. Bummer. I was so looking forward to Chicago and time with my sisters. I was so excited that the day we decided to go I went and bought 2 books on Chicago. I like to think I'm adventurous but the truth is, I think I'm more of a planner. I like to know what I'm getting into. Once we're there then I'm all for whatever happens but I have to have some sort of knowledge.
It was like when Ryan and I went to Vegas. I had to know what to expect. Funny, considering I love surprises.
However, next July my sisters and I AND all our cousins (the girls) from Iowa are going to meet up in Chicago. I can't wait. It's been forever since we've seen them. Seriously, probably about 15 years. Facebook is a great way to keep in touch with them. I love Facebook if only to keep better in touch with extended family.
